Lin-Manuel Miranda is bringing his good morning and good night tweets to the world in book form in “Gmorning, Gnight,” with adorable illustrations by Jonny Sun!
Lin-Manuel Miranda became a household name thanks to his creation of two hit Broadway musicals, In the Heights and Hamilton. He started tweeting comforting messages in the morning and evenings to help lift up his twitter followers, and now he’s compiling those into a book for all of us to read.
Gmorning to the cacophony of voices inside you, whispering and screaming and singing all manner of brilliance,
and the one that escapes your lips, saying “MUH. COFFEE. HURRGH.”— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) 12 July 2018
“Full of comfort and motivation, Gmorning, Gnight! is a touchstone for anyone looking for a lift,” the synopsis reads.
You’ll known Jonny Sun from his “aliebn” comics and book – Everyone’s a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too.

Between the two of them, their work always tries to be comforting and joyful, and I cannot wait for this book to come out in October! Here’s some recent Gmorning, Gnight tweets for you to glance over and feel a little tiny boost of what we’ll find in the book.

Gnight.
Your forehead’s still a little warm.
Apply your favorite music, at your volume.
Put your phone down as long as you’re able.
Liquids.
Ice Cream.
Peace of mind.
Rest, love
